Buzz of the time: What If Steve Jobs quits Apple ??

Sphere: Related Content

Will Apple participate in coming Macworld event? Will Steve Jobs be present in the MacWorld? Will Apple be able to keep the show alive even if Mr. Steve Jobs quits Apple? Blog world is much worried about Jobs's health as well as Apple's future health since last few days.
Most of us believe that Apple and Steve Jobs are synonymous. We simply could not think of Apple without Steve. So does the world market. Apple losses $6.6 billion in 2 hours. Apple is still continuing creating magic under great leadership of Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs has given a new life to Apple. Apple has grown into a global and house-hold brand. It has changed the concepts of entertainment business and on-line music industry. It has out-performed Microsoft in many aspects. It believes in innovation and creativity like Google does. We simply believe all have been possible only under corporate leadership of farsighted Mr. Steve Jobs.
If we believe in Mr. Steve Jobs's all-round ability, we should have faith in other 32,000 Apple employees. One company simply does not do great simply because of a person. With full respect to Mr. Steve Jobs, I would like to reiterate that a company is combined effort and it does great with the efforts of each individual. Moreover I believe if at all he quits Apple, he has already done his homework to make his successor who could keep the show on.
I believe in Apple and Mr. Steve Job's leaderships and value, what he has infused in Apple during his tenure.

Google turns 180 on Net Neutrality Issue

Sphere: Related Content      As a response to the Wall Street Journal's news about fast track in the Web, Google has tossed its stance and cleares that still it advocates the policy of network neutrality. Their proposed plan, known as OpenEdge, is all about putting caching servers within each provider’s network allowing near immediate access to Google content.
But this is also contrary to the Google’s earlier internet neutrality stance and opens the door for an internet where influential companies get fast access by using the financial power and everyone else gets slower access. Though Google makes it loud and clear this arrangement does not violate any clause of net neutrality. Though We can find much opponents and proponents on the edge caching concept of Google and whether it is an exploitation of the net neutrality concept. But one thing everyone would agree that placing the edge-caching server does enhance the user experience on about Google's content download and application. Basically Google has used its financial clout to get preferential treatment from the ISPs in whatever form it may be, as mentioned by WSJ.
Anyways, should we believe that Internet is still free and open to all ?? I hope so.

iPhone in Retail Shop : Wal-Mart @ $99

Sphere: Related Content
Since mid-November Cyberspace has been buzzing with rumor that retail giant Wall-mart will sell iPhone. The news was confirmed when "Boy Genius Report" published that Wal-Mart could start selling iPhone from 28th December. At first time Wal-Mart would sell 4-gigabyte version of the iPhone for the as low as $99. Presently Apple is only selling 8 gig and 16-gig model.
On last Thursday, four Research analysts published a report stating that they called about 20 Wal-Mart stores and the most of them confirmed that they would sell iPhone but timing and pricing were uncertain.
Currently Apple is selling iPhone only through AT&T outlets and BestBuy. So if they start selling the same through Wal-Mart it would definitely boost the sale. But according to industry insiders the amount certainly won't be $99 because Wal-Mart also needs to have profit margin.
If Apple really can sale a scale-down version like 4 gig iPhone for less price, it only make sense to sell through Wal-Mart, if company's goal is to capture the more consumer base just like success story of iPod.
